Study Bibles

The last few months I have been looking at study bibles. I have even bought a few. The ESV, the Life Application and the HCSB do not have the words of Christ in red. The NIV does. The ESV and the Life Application study bibles are single column, I don't like single column. The NIV and the HCSB have double columns. All of these bibles are priced from $30.00 to $50.00. I think the reason the words of Christ are not in red and they are single column is because of a cost saving for the printing. In other words the publishers are cheap. Had I to do it over, I would probably have only bought the NIV Bible. Holman has an interesting KJV Study Bible, I won't buy it, not because I don't like it, but because my budget won't allow any more splurge buying. Another reason is that I need to actually study the bible.
